Beorn is the best

Beorn is definitely the best of the characters from "The Hobbit". Beorn totally saves the party from certain disaster after they flee for their lives from the orcs, but unfortunately we don't get to learn a lot about him. We are left wondering as to his origins and motives as well as what really becomes of him after the quest is completed.
